Christmas 2020

Hommie and Dabi came down for Christmas this year.  We all went on lock down as much as we could a week out with the goal of being as healthy as possible.  During our time together we stayed in and around the house only.

Christmas Eve

We ordered live lobster for Christmas dinner but then got nervous that they might not make it over night so had lobster for Mom's 48th bday dinner!

Westgate Luminaries

Our section of the neighborhood chose to support The Luminary Project.  The Luminary Project supports Pine Castle Inc. a non-profit that services adults with intellectual and development disabilities.  We bought 2 kits and had 24 luminaries around our house.  It was so fun to see all the homes decorated and neighbors walking around.

 

The Convergence of Saturn and Jupiter - The Bethlehem Star

We had a beautiful view of the Convergence of Saturn and Jupiter/The Bethlehem star at sunset over the St. Johns!  What a super cool event!

 

Adventure to see Christmas lights

The lights in the Blackhawk Bluffs neighborhood sure are pretty, but probably NOT worth the 5 hour FFF in the car.  :)

Party #1 - early December family birthday zoom party with Grandad, Home and Brookies!

Party #2 - Dinner at Mellow Mushroom with girl friends followed by cake and chill time back at the house.

Party #3 - Celebration with Ally, selfies on the river and dinner at the house.

And it's official, license in hand!

CHS XC Banquet

We had to adjust the XC banquet format, but were able to celebrate at V's Pizza on their outdoor deck.  It was perfect!
