We had an awesome night - dinner with Madison, Reid and Brooks and then quality time with Santa at the Merrifield Garden Center back in our old hood.

NYC 10th Birthday trip!
We skipped school on Friday and took the train up to NYC with Hommie and Dabi! First stop Radio City Music Hall for the Rockettes show! AMAZING!!!!
And of course we had to check out Rockefeller Center and the Christmas tree!
And the ice skaters.
Saturday morning we took the subway to Battery park so we could see Lady Liberty. It was windy!!!
We also got to walk around the 9-11 Memorial.
It wasn't all educational - the girls hit the American Girl store to spend our birthday gift cards. MacKenna had an updo.
And the boys went to the Lego store.
We had some great food! Here we are at Benihanna's but we also loved breakfast at the Edison Cafe and dinner at Bubba Gumps in Time Square were Mom ran into her college roommate. Small world! Thanks to Hommie and Dabi, Mom and Dad had the opportunity to watch their friend Todd in The Last Ship performance on Saturday night.
And Sunday morning we hit Central Park..
where we found the Balto statue! What an AWESOME weekend!!!!!
Birthday weekend!
Brooke is 10, Grandad and Homie are..... Don't worry, we won't tell. So much fun celebrating December birthdays with the December birthday crew!
Tierra and silly birthday glasses.
Excited to have a card from Thomas!
Cookie decorating time. Everyone did a great job!
This is how Anderson decided to clean up his leftover decorations. Yummm...
Time to bake!
Sugar cookie baking is so much fun!!!!
We also tested our hands at homemade gingerbread houses. They were really fun!
Caroling for Cans
Here is part of troop 595 in the Hayfield Park leading a carol in the Girl Scout Caroling for Cans event.
Happy Thanksgiving!
We spent Thanksgiving in Kensington this year and ran in the Bethesda Turkey Trot. Grandma Ann rocked it!
Anderson had to fulfill a Firehouse tour for Tiger Cubs so we biked from Grandma Ann and Grandad's to the Kensington Fire Hall before Thanksgiving dinner. We brought pumpkin cheesecake for the crew and Fireman George hooked us up with an awesome tour!
