We went out to the country today to pick apples. It was Anderson's first experience with forced family fun (fff). My dad showed me how to reach apples way up high with a special apple picking stick. He tried to tell me it was a lacrosse stick, but Uncle Leigh has taught me to know better.

Here's a close-up of my little brother Anderson. My dad took 87 pictures to get this one. If you ask me, I was a tremendous help!

This morning we're working on tummytime. Anderson is coming right along. Note: extra child in the center is an instructional aide, not a third kid!

Anderson came home today! I gave him a tour of the whole house, and introduced him to Alki.

Allow me to introduce my little brother, Anderson! He was born today at 3:48pm, weighing in at 6 lbs and 7 ounces! My mom and baby brother are doing great. I can't wait to teach him everything I know.

Wow - there are four of us now! I have so much to teach him. Where to begin? Where to begin?

My dad cut the umbilical cord. Well, actually he sort of trimmed it. We left the actual medical procedures to the professionals. Fortunately Grandad was there to talk him through it.

Eight hours of labor and mom was doing great. Mom says she's ready to wakeboard with Aunt Beth.

Here's Anderson just a few moments after he was born.

I got to introduce Hommie and Dabi to Anderson.

I got to watch Anderson get his first bath in the baby processing station. The nurse brought him over to say hello.

Any moment?? We spent Labor Day in town - no trip to Lake Anna this year - since baby brother is expected soon. I am really looking forward to the big day. Stay tuned right here for any big updates! Also, my cousin Keira is getting a little brother too. You can check out her blog over at: http://www.mulchs.blogspot.com/.
