The "Olympic" pool at our hotel?? We weren't so sure it was an accurate description, but it was pretty.
Lunch with the V's! Hip hip hooray!
Can't just have a smilie, picture now can we?
On our way back north we swung by West Palm to catch up with Pam and Allie, who lived with us in CO. They were attending the Trampoline National meet. It was so great to be able to see them!
The first Annual Lake Anna Pirate Games kept us busy. The winners were Uncle Leigh and Anderson. Their names will be the first engraved on this amazing trophy!
The first challenge involved standing on a 2x4, on the dock, in windy conditions while balancing a pool ball on a circular board. Every minute an additional pool ball was added the the board.
The second challenge involved axes and knives, YES!!!!
The third and final challenge involved several steps, 1)paddling, kayaking or canoeing from the dock to the Pirates Cove, 2) memorizing a code posted on a tree, 3) paddling, kayaking or canoeing back to the dock, 4) applying the code to open a lock on a treasure chest, 5) opening the chest and assembling a puzzle. Pictures to come..
