What a fantastic week! We visited the Portland Rose Festival. We saw the Portland Children's Museum, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, a parade, and best of all we got to ride home on Dad's ship! Our friends Luke and Mary Abigail were there too. Steaming down the Columbia River on the mighty CGC FIR. My dad's job is pretty cool, and apparently not all that difficult. Even I can sit here in a fancy chair and tell the officer of the deck to "stay in the channel." Gee...Try coloring in the lines. Now, that's a challenge.

When you're two...Few things in life are better than a 19th floor window with a view of every police car, ambulance and fire truck in the city! Who needs cartoons? Note: that's Anderson's hot chocolate. Mom has us started early on the good stuff!

We watched the Rose Festival Star Light Parade on Saturday night. It was great! Note: This wasn't our cooler, but the owners had to admire Luke's and my ability to land some upgraded seating.
