2nd Thursday Adventure Day - Theodore Roosevelt Island!

In the middle of Theodore Roosevelt Island is a statue of Theodore Roosevelt, fountains and four HUGE granite tablets with cool quotes and philosophies from "Teddy".  The rest of the island is a wooded tribute to the 26th President and his passion for the earth's natural places and foresight in planning for conservation and preservation.

Thursday fun day trip to the Zoo!

We took a super quick Thursday afternoon trip to the zoo with Sam, Gave, Katie, Nate and Jack.  It was fun.  

Our goal was to see the pandas.  SUCCESS!!  It was so hot they were inside, but we spent a lot of time watching them.
