Back to the ole hood

Hooking up with our tried and true VA neighbors, Liam, Carter and Gavin.  We missed Aiden but we will have more opportunities to get together now that we are so close again!

TOT in Alexandria

TOT stands for "Tourists in Our Town".  We used to TOT in Oregon with our pals all the time.  Mom thought we should head back to Mt Vernon now that we are soooo close - 5 miles away to be exact!  Here we are with George, Martha, and their Grandchildren "Washy" and Nelly.

It was spring time the last time we visited Mt Vernon, so the trees didn't have leaves on them back then.  But still...

Connecticut Bound!

This past weekend we went up to CT for Clint and Gail's (Dad's Aunt and Uncle) 50th Anniversary party!  This is ONLY our family part of the party!  

We stayed with Alexander and Ava, our 2nd cousins.  Mom thought their backyard pool should be awarded a 4 goggle rating, the highest yet - you can actually swim laps in it!

Any guesses where we are?  Yep, Dad called it an official recruiting trip to the Coast Guard Academy.  But we really only went into the gift shop.  

Oh yeah, we had to take this picture for Grandad and Dabi.  Check out all the sailboats Grandad!  We couldn't believe that Dabi actually coached sailing here.  So cool!

Day trip to Wissahickon Valley Trail in PA

Super fun day trip with Aunt Meg, Keira, Grant, Aunt Rebecca, Courtney, Rocco, Aunt Eileen, Grandad, and Grandma Ann in Phili.  We played in Grandad and Aunt Eileen's old hood - on the Wissahickon Valley Trail in Roxborough, PA outside Phili.  

Preparing to hike to the Mickey Mouse cave.  This is a cave that Granddad, Aunt Pam, Aunt Phyllis and Aunt Eileen used to play in as kids.  It's right down the street from the house they grew up in.  SOOO COOL!

Only a few of us were brave enough to enter the Mickey Mouse cave - Grandad, Aunt Eileen, Keira and of course ME!!!!  Feet first...
