Girl Scout Beach Clean Up Event

Today was the scheduled day for our girl scout troop beach clean up.  We planned this event to wrap up our BREATHE Journey.  It was rainy, windy and "cold." The conditions resembled the Oregon coast not South Florida.  The Coastie kids in the troop were the only ones brave enough to complete the task.  OK, and our Mom's did not get the message that it was cancelled.

We warmed up with hot coco in the Margarittaville Resort.  This is the "Blew out a flip flop, stepped on a pop top" sculpture.

2nd Place!

After a tough game, the Cobras came in 2nd place in the league!  Only two losses and both were to the same team.  Not bad!  All the Cobra teammates are signed up again with Coach Steve for the "winter" season!

Thanksgiving fun

Hommie and Dabi came down for Thanksgiving break.  Of course we HAD to go to the beach first thing and build a sandcastle.

We left just in time to escape the in coming storms on Hollywood beach, but enjoyed the beautiful pre storm rainbow.

This Thanksgiving will be forever known as the year ANDERSON picked the 2,000 piece impossible puzzle!!!  Lesson learned - Anderson is banned from buying the next puzzle.
