Happy REAL 10th birthday!

After all the anticipation and pre-celebration he is now really 10!  Kicking of the day's celebrations with chocolate waffles at the Shades of Green breakfast buffet.

Home again home again after Hurricane Irma...we made it home and had a party after Daddy came home from work!  No more single digits at this house!

10th Birthday Plan B

When we arrived at Shades of Green we extended one more night.

After checking in we hopped on the bus and hit Magic Kingdom.  We only had 3/8 ths of the crew we had originally planned but we had a great time.  The park was empty so we ran all over!

1st stop was Space Mt for two of us, and then off to the cars.

SCARY!!!!

Broookies did awesome by herself.

Then "It's a Small World"

And the Swiss Family Robinson tree house

Yo ho yo ho a pirates life for us..  Finally, after heading all about Pirates of the Caribbean, Anderson got to ride it.

Dinner above It's a Small world.  They have signs you can hold up to engage the people on the ride below.

And of course the light show and fireworks!

Day 2 - Animal Kingdom

Anderson really wanted to go to the new Pandora section so we hit that first.  It was beautiful and fun!  We stood in line for an hour for the Avatar Flight of Passage but it was SOOO worth it!  Our second favorite of the morning was the Navi River Journey in Pandora.  Our third favorite was the Festival of the Lion King show.

Early birthday dinner in Epcot at Teppan Edo...because we haven't celebrated Anderson's birthday enough this week.

We caught a little rain on our way out of Epcot.

Happy early birthday Anderson and real birthday Grandma Ann!

SURPRISE - We all surprised Anderson with an early double digit bday party at Afton Tavern.  It was Grandma Ann's real birthday so we had a great party!  ALL our grandparents drove to NC to celebrate!  We were supposed to meet in Orlando to go to Disney this weekend but Irma changed our plans.  Plan B was awesome because we had cousins and grandparents!  We all really missed Daddy, who was in FL.

The birthday kids!

Happy faces.

Silly faces.

Anderson and Dabi.

Cake back at Aunt Beth and Uncle Leigh's.

Licking the icing off his 3D printed, personalized 10 candle holder.

10 was the nerf gun birthday.  Go big or go home.  Mom agreed to nerf guns after three years of cub scout BB gun training.  Watch out!

Our awesome family!
