First Day of 5th and 8th grades!

Ready or not..this is the first time ever we have lived somewhere long enough to start a third year of school in the SAME school!  Third year is a charm!

And of course a silly one.

First day was a success!  Best FL first day yet!  Time to celebrate with a treat!

Brooke's Silver Award Project!

After working on my Silver Award all year, I finally picked it up from Mr. Eddy my printer.  "Brooke's Guide for Military Brats Moving to SoFlo" looks awesome and I think will be a great success!

Here I am standing in front of my table at the Coast Guard Family Readiness Event.  There were 250 people in attendance so I was able to hand out a lot of guides!

Last days of summer

The EAGLE stopped into Miami so we took a tour.  Daddy was a great tour guide!

The Penguins are the summer hockey champs!  WOW, two championship wins in a row!

Mom and Dad went to the ABA conference in Chicago to receive Dad's award, so Hommie and Dabi came down to stay with us!  Yippie!

It must be school time, Franklin's Swim team pre-season.  The great news is that practice is right down the street from our house so we could bike there.  Mom is assistant coaching so Anderson is swimming with the team too.
