My first chair lift ride! This weekend we went skiing at Mt. Hood in Oregon. I really got into it this year. I spent over two hours skiing, then my parents told me about this really cool place where I could watch movies and play all afternoon. And, guess what? Anderson was there too!

What a difference a year makes!

"Dad, I think someone drove this ship the wrong way!" Today we played on the PETER J. IREDALE, a famous Oregon shipwreck. My dad says he doesn't drive his ship anywhere near here.

Tonight I danced in the "slightly after Christmas" recital with my new dance school! The Christmas recital was postponed until tonight, so I was able to participate even though I've technically only been to one dance class. Talk about pressure! Check out the bun in my hair.

Anderson kept Mommy busy during the recital running around the studio and playing race cars on the floor.

Look who's walking! Anderson started walking and walking and walking on December 26th.

And he's off....

Happy 2009! We had a "Celebrate New Years with the east coast" party at our house last night. There were eleven kids!!! Everyone had a great time watching the ball fall over New York at 9:00pm our time! Eleven kids were in bed by 10.

The adults hung out upstairs and ate fondue and drank champagne.

The real party took place in the basement! Dakota, Hayden, Mae, Gabe, Leo, Ada, George, Owen, Mathias, Anderson and I made a bigger mess than Times Square.
