This morning we had Breakfast with Santa. We made crafts, wrote letters to Santa and had a chance to bend his ear too.

It's almost Christmas! Santa drove down our street tonight with the Astoria Fire Department collecting canned goods and giving out candy. We got to stay up two hours past our bedtime - thanks Santa!

Wow. What a bright and loud parade!

Waiting for the parade with our canned goods!

Friday I celebrated my six birthday! I had a party with Hayden, since it is his sixth birthday too. A whole bunch of our friends came to the Port of Play for a big night of dancing, bouncy house, pinata and CAKE!

Dancing to "DJ Roth's" techno beats! Who knew Port of Play could be turned into a dance club?!

Clobbering the pinata!

Pinata success! I thought we'd never knock it down.

Our annual voyage to the tree farm! We drove 120 miles, again, to find the perfect tree. That might seem strange for a family living in Oregon, but it is all about the experience. Anderson picked this tree, but we decided to wait a few years for this one.

Now that's more like it!

Dad had plenty of help cutting down our tree!
Posted by Picasa

Time to haul it out! Note: Dad was completely thrilled with a tree that was about 8 feet from where we parked our car. Mom says "it is about the experience." So, as you can see, there are no cars in sight of this tree - including ours!

Ms. Vicky timing us for the "Gobble Gallop." Ed Note: organizers couldn't call it the "Turkey Trot" due to a potential conflict with another slightly larger race in Chevy Chase, Md.
